Also, I just saw a post about problems with color coding and the datasheet view. Something to do with ActiveX, but that might have applied to 2007 and earlier.

From what I understand conditional formating can only be done via InfoPath forms which can only be used on Server/Enterprise. SharePoint Lists by default do not support conditional formating. Perhaps...
